Kaiden's Chef Birthday Party

As promised (and a little behind) here are the pictures from Kaiden's Chef themed Birthday Party.

Well, since my little cook was turning 5 it was his year to have a BIG party. The theme he chose was cooking/chef....go figure! Truly though I was excited, because I knew it would be both easy and tons of fun for him and his friends. I told him he could invite 9 kids so with my 3 there would be 12 total. It worked perfectly! He gave me a very specific list of 9 kids. This boy sure knows what he wants!! Here are my 3 favorite pictures of Kaiden from his party.

So for starters I gave all of the kids as they came in a piece of construction paper to decorate with lots of neat stickers and stuff. They were instructed to put their names on it too. Then I laminated those to make each of the kids their own place mat.
Once all of the kids got here and had a chance to make a place mat, we started making pizza for dinner. They each got and apron and I gave them each a large Pillsbury biscuit and a mini rolling pin to roll out their "dough". Then they each made their pizza with the toppings they wanted.

When they were finished preparing their pizza, we put those in the oven to bake and got out 2 cake mixes for them to start making the cakes. They were given a mini wisk and a spatula/spreader too for this. They each got a turn and I am pretty sure they liked this part, there was a lot of licking!

BEEP! Pizza's done! So they ate their dinner while the cupcakes were baking.

Dalton, Joey, Caleb and Megan

Belle, Caroline, Amaya and Kaylee

Matthew, Hannah and Kaiden

Jace and Weston

Next we opened presents while the cupcakes cooled.

How appropriate. Easy Bake oven for my Little Chef! Notice his awesome Chef's coat! I love it!!

Finally it was time for them to decorate cupcakes. They each got to do 2. 1 for now and 1 take take home in their take-out box with all of their stuff.

Naturally there was a LOT more licking!
